Mychola Gavrylovych Chernyshevsky was a Russian journalist and writer. He was born 12 (24) July 1828 in Saratov. Grew up into the family of a priest. Father Gabriel Ivanovychsa Chernyshevsky (1793 -1861) was a priest. A writer studied at home his father was a teacher for him. His father was many-sided educated man and therefore could fully develop your child. In 1842 he entered the seminary in Saratov, where he devoted the most time to self-education, studying foreign languages, Russian grammar, geography, history, literature and theory of literature and various sciences. He did not finished Seminary.
Mycola Gavrylovych Chernyshevsky investigated liberty, invented the theory of rational egoism which had two principles: 1) to satisfying the needs of their own body; 2)reciprocate the good people together .
“Rational egoism” has in itself nothing to do, individual, selfish for themselves personal success at the expense of others. Why it is “selfishness”? The fact that Mycola Gavrylovych not accept the position of believing moral laws, because they was used for the benefit of higher classes, namely masters who ruled over the people. He always built their systems, based on different philosophical materialism, namely anthropologism.
That was the philosophical doctrine of human nature. The objective of this area was the study and justification of the essence of human existence and individuality of each person. In the center is not God, is the same person as the person who is endowed with intelligence and uniqueness in the universe. According Chernyshevskogo “rational egoism”, he abhors solitude because every happy person can be alone “There are no lonely happiness, happiness of one person dependent on the well-being of society.”, A person can be truly free only if he/she will communicatу with people.
